BA(Hons), GradDipEd, MCouns, Assoc MAPS
I am a registered psychologist with over 14 years experience working with children, young people and adults. I'm passionate about providing unique psychology services for individuals and organisations. I have worked across a wide range of areas including: counselling, mental health, trauma, educational and organisational psychology. I am based in Perth, Western Australia.
I have a particular interest in traumatic stress injuries, trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, health implications due to the interaction between mind and body, attachment and interpersonal difficulties, self-regulation, ecopsychology and animal-assisted therapy (particularly with horses).
I work within evidence-based psychology approaches and integrate innovative techniques to develop individual support programs. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important element in creating a safe environment for clients. I understand and respect the courage it can take to ask for help, particularly when we feel overwhelmed or vulnerable. I hope to provide a compassionate, non-judgemental, respectful space in which to assist people to find solutions, ease pain and trust themselves.
